SilverHawks
I had so much fun with my M.A.S.K. project that I decided to visit another favorite 80’s cartoon that I loved growing up, The SilverHawks. They wear “masks” when they’re flying around in Limbo, so I took a crack at drawing the 5 main characters from the show: Quicksilver, Steel Heart, Steel Will, The Copper Kidd and Bluegrass. If you recall, Bluegrass was the pilot of The Mirage and never had wings or flew. I really wanted to see what he’d look like with a standard SilverHawks mask so that’s what you’ll see here.

M.A.S.K.
With people wearing masks in 2020, it made me reminisce about an old cartoon from the 80’s I watched as a kid called M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand). Yes, “Kommand” with a “K”. I illustrated a mask from the series each week until the entire M.A.S.K. catalog was completed. It was a fun personal project and it was great to engage with others on social media who are also fans of the show.
To those who noticed, yes I did redesign the title treatment in the M.A.S.K. logo. I kept the “mask head” logo the same, but the font needed an update.
Photoshop / Illustrator
For the new logo, I chose a font similar in style but with a modern twist (Baskerville), adding a dynamic tilt and arch at the bottom. I enlarged the mask to balance the elements and introduced subtle gradients in the yellow to enhance depth and illumination.

Spider-Man: Mobile Wallpapers
I enjoy making mobile wallpapers for myself. When Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home were released by Marvel, I decided to create some wallpapers for myself that reflected the suits from these films. Feel free to download and use them yourself.
Leggy Guys
During quarantine I came up with these characters “The Leggy Guys” as I call them currently. I made some fun social posts with them on Instagram, then thought they could make for some fun digital wallpapers.
